Meet the Newspaper Staff

Last school year, The Spartan Press was formed as a club by Editor-in-Chief Daniella Arevalo and the other sophomore Class Officers. Including this one, the members have published two issues. You may not know a lot of the members of The Spartan Press, so here is some insight into some of our staff. One of the members of The Spartan Press is sophomore Leah Martinez. A fun fact about her is that she has a black belt in Taek- wondo. She decided to join the newspaper because she wanted to try something out of her comfort zone and she enjoys writing. By joining, she hoped to learn more about journalism and the process behind making a newspaper. Another member is junior Ari Fernandez. A fun fact about her is that she stans (is a superfan of) Harry Styles. She decided to join because ever since she was little she has been into writing and when she’s older she wants to do something that involves writing or editing.
