This year the juniors got the opportunity to go on a retreat as a whole class, and it turned out to be a great experience. The location of the retreat was Redwood Glen in Scotts Valley, near Santa Cruz. It was a great location due to the nature surrounding it, and it made a great spot to go on a hike. We got to do lots of activities that involved reflecting on ourselves, but we also had little groups in which we got to share what we had written. But the activity that was by far the most fun had to have been the talent show. In the talent show, there were performances such as TikTok dances, singing, and martial arts. We also had a bonfire, and we ate some s’mores and listened to some music. Overall, the retreat was very fun and it was a great way to connect with ourselves and with each other.
